Kindergarten Apps
If you ever want to try any of these apps at school, please just let me know! Also, please feel free to let me know if you find any great apps that you think would be great for our classroom iPads.
Great Website!
At a meeting we were introduce to this fantastic website where you can submit your email address and once a week they will email you the latest apps, as well as free apps that are all appropriate for Kindergarten. The website is broken down by age and subject material.

Letter School
In Kindergarten we frequently use the Letter School app during centre time. It is a great app to help students learn about letters and numbers: writing, counting, phonics and more. In the settings of this app you can change the font to Handwriting without tears, which is the printing program that we use at MMH to teach proper letter and number formation. This is great practice for letter and number printing.

ABC Magic
There are several different versions of ABC Magic, progressing from easy to hard letter phonetics. The great thing about these apps is that they free up to a certain point and work very well with our Jolly Phonics letter sounds. Great apps for practicing letter names and sounds.
